Segev Baron is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as Sr. Director of Engineering and Head of the Israel R&D Center at Sage since 2021. Prior to this role, Segev was the Director of Engineering at MediaKind, directing the Israeli R&D Center of Excellence from 2019 to 2021, where innovative software-defined solutions for media technology were developed. Segev's tenure at IBM from 2009 to 2019 featured various leadership positions focused on software engineering and global support for enterprise storage systems. Early career roles included positions at NetApp, Topio, and Elbit Systems, alongside a strong educational background with a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Bioinformatics from Technion and an MBA from the University of Haifa.
