Amaya Souarez is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in cloud services and operations. Currently serving as EVP of Cloud Services & Operations at Sage since June 2021, Amaya leads product engineering and cloud operations. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Vice President and iCTO at Fiserv, where leadership encompassed EMEA Technology Operations and the global GIO Cloud team, focusing on infrastructure, disaster recovery, and customer-centered product engineering. Previously, Amaya held roles at CyrusOne as Vice President of DC Systems, IT & Security, and at Microsoft, where responsibilities included managing datacenter operations and spearheading cost-reduction initiatives. Amaya holds a Master’s degree in Romance Languages and Literature from the University of Washington and a Master’s Certificate in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University.
