Lucie Loukotkova

Associate Director, Bioanalysis at Sage Therapeutics

Lucie Loukotkova has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research and analysis. Lucie is currently working at Sage Therapeutics as a Senior Scientist in the DMPK, Bioanalytical department. Prior to this, Lucie worked at Pyxant Labs as a Senior Lead Scientist, where they transitioned from Covance Salt Lake City. Lucie was responsible for leading scientific work and ensuring regulatory compliance. Before Pyxant Labs, Lucie worked at Covance as a Lead Scientist II, where they played a key role in supporting client studies and projects. Their responsibilities included reviewing protocols, evaluating data quality, and approving reports. Prior to Covance, Lucie worked at the National Center for Toxicological Research, US Food and Drug Administration, where they served as a Research Chemist and a Post-doctoral Research Associate. In these roles, they developed and validated UPLC-ESI-MS methods for quantitation of test articles and provided analytical support for various studies. Lucie started their career as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Charles University in Prague.

Lucie Loukotkova completed their education in a chronological manner. Lucie started their academic journey in 2000 at Charles University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Analytical Chemistry. Lucie completed their undergraduate studies in this field in 2005.

Afterward, Lucie continued their education at Charles University, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Analytical Chemistry from 2005 to 2010.

In 2012, Lucie enrolled at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where they attained a Graduate Certificate in Regulatory Science. Lucie completed this program in 2014.

Furthermore, Lucie has obtained multiple certifications throughout their career. These include "Introduction to GLP Regulations and Bioanalytical Method Validation by LC-MS/MS," earned from the American Society For Mass Spectrometry in June 2016, and "Exploring Chemical Space in the New Toxicity Testing Paradigm: From Data CUration to COmputational Simulations," awarded by the Society of Toxicology (SOT) in March 2016.

Additionally, Lucie obtained certifications such as "edX Honor Code Certificate for Basic Steps in Magnetic Resonance" from edX in November 2015, "Animal care and use (ACU)" from CITI Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative in September 2013, and "Radiation Safety and Health Protection basic training" from the FDA in October 2012.

Moreover, Lucie acquired a certification in "Human subject research (HSR)" from CITI Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative in September 2012 and "Quantitative mass spectrometry" from the American Society For Mass Spectrometry in June 2011.

Recently, in August 2022, Lucie obtained two certifications from LinkedIn: "Speaking Confidently and Effectively" and "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers."
