Samantha Federico is an experienced media professional currently serving as the Evening Host for 106.1 The Corner WCNR and the host of Local Trax, a program showcasing local music, since August 2017. Samantha has a background as a web copywriter, curating newsletters for multiple radio stations and CvilleRightNow. Previous roles include producing live daytime talk shows for WINA, serving as a teaching assistant for a college radio class, and ticket selling for various organizations, including ASM Global and Ticketstoday. Samantha holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Broadcast Journalism from Virginia Commonwealth University, completed in 2016, and an advanced diploma from Fluvanna County High School.
