Philip King has had a diverse work experience spanning from 2010 to the present. Philip currently works as a Project Manager at Saffron Building Society, a position they have held since November 2021. Prior to this, Philip spent seven years at Royal Mail, where they held various roles including Interoperability Project Manager, Reconciliation Project Manager, Senior Deployment Lead, Deployment Manager, and Operational Planning & Programmes. Before joining Royal Mail, Philip worked at RDC as a Business Development Manager, Service Delivery Manager, Account Executive, and Business Development Executive.
Philip King attended Farlingaye High School from 1997 to 2004, where they obtained their GCSE and A-level qualifications. After completing high school, they enrolled at The Manchester Metropolitan University from 2005 to 2008 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Leisure Management.
In addition to their formal education, Philip King has obtained several certifications over the years. In 2009, they received training in Ethical Negotiation Skills and Fundamentals of Selling from Pareto Law. In 2015, they completed the Managing Safely course offered by IOSH and the Customer and You Training Programme provided by The Institute of Customer Service. In 2016, they obtained the Trained Assessor certification from QA Ltd and the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) from the Association for Project Management. Philip'smost recent certification, the APM Project Management (IPMA), was obtained in July 2018.
