Katie Standlee is an experienced customer care representative currently working at SafetySkills since April 2020. Prior to this role, Katie served as a freelance journalist for Edmond Outlook Magazine and worked as a reporter for The Norman Transcript, focusing primarily on city council coverage. Katie’s journalism experience includes a managing editor position at The Vista during college, where assignments and weekly stories were managed while covering student life. Additionally, Katie held various roles at the University of Central Oklahoma, including reporting for Testing Services and serving as a customer service representative, resident assistant, and front desk assistant across different departments. Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Media from the University of Central Oklahoma, earned in 2019.
