Elena Fernandez is currently a Michigan Union Ticket Office Clerk and the Chair of La Casa’s Leadership Academy at the University of Michigan, where Elena facilitates programs for Latinx students focused on leadership development and resource connectivity. As a Technology Consultant for the University of Michigan Information and Technology Services and Event Staff with Safety Service Systems Inc., Elena engages in various roles emphasizing technology and event security. Previously, Elena worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in psychology, studying gender differences, and provided support as a Peer Mentor for a leadership academy. Elena holds a Bachelor's degree in Biopsychology, Cognition & Neuroscience, and Cognitive Science from the University of Michigan, following graduation from Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School in 2022.
