Craig Sampson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and management. Currently serving as an EXCO Member of Convocation for Alumni Affairs at the University of the Witwatersrand since December 2023, Craig also holds the dual positions of Site Manager and Managing Director at Safety io, where Craig has been employed since August 2019. Additionally, Craig is a SafetyIO Engineer at MSA - The Safety Company, overseeing initiatives within its subsidiary. Prior to these roles, Craig was a Software Engineer at Sierra Monitor Corporation from 2004 to July 2019, focusing on industrial network protocol conversion. Earlier career experience includes a Support Engineer position at Almex Information Systems, where responsibilities involved maintaining roadside ticket machines for Transport for London. Craig earned a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, following education at Bryanston High School.
