Steinar Schønning Holtskog has a diverse work experience. Steinar Schønning started their career as a Summer Associate at The Boston Consulting Group in 2006. Steinar Schønning then worked as a Senior Associate at Creo Advisors from 2006 to 2010. After that, they joined AF Gruppen as a Business Developer, where they were part of the M&A/strategy team and worked within construction, energy, environment, and offshore services. From 2013 to 2017, Steinar was an Engagement Manager at Differ Strategy Consulting, leading management consulting teams in various industries. In 2018, they became a Vice President of Business Development at Saferoad Group, and in 2019, they took on the role of SVP Strategy and M&A until 2021. Currently, they are serving as the SVP Road Marking Nordics at Saferoad Group. In addition, they briefly served as the Functional Managing Director at EKC Sverige, a part of Saferoad Group, in 2021. Steinar has demonstrated their expertise in strategy, M&A, business development, and consulting throughout their career.

From 2002 to 2006, Steinar Schønning Holtskog attended Handelshøyskolen BI, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Strategy and Management (siv.øk).
