Bernd Fruehwald is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across the global tools and manufacturing industries. Currently serving as Group CEO of Saferoad Group since October 2022, Fruehwald also holds a position as a Member of the Supervisory Board at HK Holding AG. Previously, Fruehwald was President of Global Power Tools at Apex Tool Group GmbH, overseeing a significant P&L of $400 million across multiple brands and markets. Additional leadership roles at Apex Tool Group, LLC included President for EMEA, Australia & NZ, and Vice President of Global Electronics, where responsibilities included driving innovation, digital transformation, and strategic market realignment. Earlier career experiences include key positions at Bühler Motor GmbH, where Fruehwald managed global product lifecycle processes and led R&D initiatives. Fruehwald holds an MBA in Integrated Management from St. Galler Business School.
