Kenitra Woods is an experienced educational and program management professional with a strong background in skills development and coaching. Currently serving as Program Manager for Basic Skills and Lead Instructional Facilitator at Safer Foundation since April 2010, Kenitra focuses on participant grade level improvement and programmatic success, while also fostering collaborations with external agencies. Previous roles include Life Skills Coach at South Suburban PADS, where a four-week class on self-esteem was developed, and Assistant Track and Field Coach at Chicago State University, where training regimens and athlete development were prioritized. Kenitra's early career includes positions such as GED Instructor and Assistant Track Coach at Carbondale Community High School and Adjunct Health & Wellness Instructor at Nashville State Community College. Kenitra holds a M.A. in Sports Administration and a B.S. in Liberal Arts focused on Music and Theatre from Tennessee State University.
