Jacob Maynard has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Jacob is currently working at SafeLogic as a Director of Engineering since March 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Staff Software Engineer at SafeLogic from August 2021 to March 2022, where they implemented agile methodologies, developed FIPS modules, and established CI/CD pipelines.

Before joining SafeLogic, Jacob was the Head of Technology at TESTD starting from October 2020.

Jacob also had a long tenure at Citrix, where they held multiple roles. As a Staff Crypto Engineer from August 2018 to August 2021, they worked on developing cryptographic solutions. Jacob was also a Staff Software Engineer, contributing to various projects such as the Android mVPN SDK and the Android MDX Kit, from August 2016 to August 2021. Prior to that, they earned another Master's degree in Information Security from the same university, specializing in Network Security and certified by the National Security Agency (NSA) between 2005 and 2008. Jacob completed their undergraduate studies at DeVry University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Networks and Communications Management with a concentration in Data/Telephony Networking, Business, and Project Management.

In addition to their formal education, Jacob Maynard has acquired several certifications.
