Eric Shiflet has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Eric started their career at TVA as a Co-op in the Nuclear Fuels engineering group, where they generated nuclear fuel cycle reports and developed a software simulation for reactor systems.

Eric then worked at Altera as a Product Planning Engineer before joining Xilinx as a Senior Field Applications Engineer and later as a Senior Technical Marketing Manager. At Xilinx, Eric was involved in technical marketing and customer support.

In 2009, Eric joined Tendril as the Head of Product Management and Documentation groups. Eric was responsible for managing product strategy and overseeing documentation efforts.

After that, Eric worked at Rally Software Development as a Senior Product Manager, where they contributed to the product management team.

In 2014, Eric transitioned to Formation Data Systems as a Principal Product Manager before joining LogRhythm in 2017 as a Director of Product Management.

In 2021, they took on the role of Director of Product Management at Shutterstock, where they led the product management team for content API and integrations with partner and customer platforms.

Currently, Eric serves as the Sr. Director of Product Management at SafeGuard Cyber. Their responsibilities include leading teams working on integrations, detections using machine learning and deterministic algorithms, and platform scaling to grow with customers.

Throughout their career, Eric has gained expertise in product management, technical marketing, customer support, and team leadership.

Eric Shiflet obtained their Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree with a specialization in Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Eric attended the university from 1991 to 1995.
