Frode Johansen is an experienced development manager at SafeBase AS since August 2016, specializing in operational intelligence, remote presence, cognitive dashboards, real-time smart data analysis, robust wireless communication, and open-source technologies. Prior to this role, Frode served as a project manager at Wärtsilä from April 2012 to May 2016, leading the R&D development of a 6,6kV 11MW frequency converter for marine and offshore power applications. Frode also held project management positions at Siemens Energy from January 2006 to March 2012, focusing on Oil&Gas and power grid development projects, and at Siemens Electrical Heating from January 1998 to January 2006, where responsibilities included developing digital thermostats and control systems for heating appliances. Frode earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 1994 and 1998.
