Derek Wolcott has extensive experience in IT and infrastructure roles, currently serving as the Director of Internal Infrastructure and previously as a Solutions Architect and NOC Tier 3 Senior Engineer at Safe Systems since June 2013. Prior to this, Derek worked at Safe Systems in various NOC engineering and analyst positions from December 2010 to March 2013. Earlier experience includes working as an IT Assistant at Farmers and Merchants Bank from May 2007 to December 2010, where IT functions were performed for both employees and customers. Derek began a collegiate athletic career as a D1-AA College Football student athlete at Samford University from August 2004 to May 2006. Educational qualifications include a degree in IT with a focus on multimedia audio/video from Georgia Southern University and a degree in Computer Science from Samford University.
