John Spinks is an experienced professional in the field of youth advocacy and support services, currently serving as a Streetwork Case Manager at Safe Horizon since September 2019. In this role, John delivers comprehensive services to adolescents and young adults impacted by homelessness, focusing on basic living needs and stable housing information while advocating for clients within social service systems. Prior to this, John held positions at YSS, including Street Outreach Youth Advocate and Emergency Bed Youth Advocate, where support was provided to at-risk youth in various settings. Other notable positions include Teaching Artist at CityVoices, Childcare Provider, Office Supervisor/Social Media Editor at Camp Canine NY, Shift Supervisor at Starbucks, and Sales Associate at Target. John holds a B.F.A. in Theatre Arts/Communications and Studio Art from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
