Mykal Ward is an experienced educator and manager currently serving as the Owner and Manager of InnerSpark Coaching LLC since January 2024 and as the Training and Education Manager at Safe Haven Ministries since March 2022. Previously, Mykal has held various teaching and leadership roles, including ELA Teacher at Lighthouse Academy Charter School and Teacher at both National Heritage Academies and Grand Rapids Public Schools. Mykal has contributed to the education sector through dynamic lesson planning, classroom management, technology integration, and professional development. Additionally, Mykal authored a poetry collection titled "Cast Iron Butterflies" aimed at providing comfort and inspiration to those in difficult situations. Mykal holds a Master's degree in Educational Differentiation and a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from Grand Valley State University, along with an Associate of Arts from Grand Rapids Community College.
