Gaudensia Chepkonga is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy, architecture, and radio network planning within the telecommunications industry. Since joining Safaricom Limited in October 2013, Gaudensia has held the position of Senior Manager for Strategy Access and Architecture, where responsibilities include developing architectural frameworks, ensuring strategic alignment across network domains, managing technology interfaces, and driving efficiency through process improvement. Prior roles include Principal 3G Radio Capacity Planning Engineer and Radio Network Planning and Optimization Engineer at Huawei Technologies, where Gaudensia specialized in RF planning, KPI monitoring, and optimization solutions. Career beginnings were at Nokia Siemens Networks as a 3G Performance Monitoring Engineer. Gaudensia holds a Master of Science in Information Systems from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Telecommunication Engineering from Moi University.
