Felix K. Rop currently serves as the Head of Department for Financial Services IT at Safaricom PLC, a position held since September 2021. Prior to this, Felix K. Rop worked at Huawei from April 2012 to November 2021, where roles included Deputy Director of the Software Business Unit, overseeing software solutions for telecommunications and financial institutions, and managing key projects such as Mobile Money (M-PESA) and BSS. Other responsibilities included customer relationship management, risk management, and revenue generation. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mobile Telecommunication Innovation from Strathmore University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Kabarak University.
