Sue Goncalves currently serves as a Member Assembly Representative for the American Nurses Association and has held various leadership roles at Sacred Heart University, including President of the University Academic Assembly and Inclusive Excellence Fellow. With extensive experience in nursing, Sue has contributed as an Associate Professor at the Dr. Susan L. Davis & Richard J. Henley College of Nursing and has held numerous positions at St. Vincent's Medical Center, including Off-shift Nursing Supervisor and Nursing Manager. Active in professional organizations, Sue participates in the American Association of Colleges of Nursing's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Leadership Network and has been involved with the Connecticut Nurses Association as President and a member of the Government Relations Committee. Additionally, Sue is a board member of Vizient Nurse Residency at Hartford HealthCare and engages in medical missions with the International Medical Association of Lourdes.
