Colin Montague is a seasoned professional in basketball analytics, currently serving as the Senior Director of Basketball Analytics for the Sacramento Kings since August 2017, where previous roles included Director of Basketball Analytics and Basketball Analyst. Prior experience includes working as an Applied Analytics Analyst for Nike, where Colin designed and maintained a database system for a $2.5 billion retail fleet and implemented statistical modeling for business decisions. Colin also held the position of Chief Research Officer at VolleyMetrics, managing statistical studies and automating reports for collegiate volleyball. Earlier roles included research assistant and teaching assistant at Brigham Young University, where Colin contributed to statistical analysis and course instruction. Colin holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Statistics from Brigham Young University and served as a missionary with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Guatemala from 2008 to 2010, leading proselytism and volunteer efforts.
