Prof. Amitai Ziv MD, MHA is the Founder and Director of MSR, the Israel Center for Medical Simulation at Sheba Medical Center, focusing on enhancing the safety culture in healthcare through improved training for healthcare professionals. With extensive experience in medical education, Prof. Amitai Ziv holds positions as Adjunct Associate Professor at Mayo Medical School and Case Western University, Clinical Senior Lecturer at Sackler School of Medicine, and Clinical Associate Professor at Tel Aviv University. Prof. Amitai Ziv has served on various committees including the Clinical Teaching Committee and the Institutional Review Board at Sheba Medical Center, while also contributing as Director of Patient Safety and Risk Management. Educational achievements include an MD in Pediatrics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, a PhD in Medical Education, and an MA in Health Administration from Tel Aviv University.
