Sophia Wolter is an experienced professional in the fields of energy economics and policy, with a career spanning over 15 years. Currently, Sophia occupies a position at the Sächsisches Staatsministerium für Wirtschaft, Arbeit und Verkehr as part of Digitalagentur Sachsen since October 2022. Sophia previously contributed to economic development at Landeshauptstadt Dresden from June 2018 to September 2022. Notably, Sophia has been involved in significant research projects, such as the BMWi initiative on renewable energy integration at DIW Berlin and leading the THINK project advising the European Commission on energy policies. Additionally, Sophia has experience as Managing Editor for the "Economics of Energy & Environmental Policy" journal and has held academic roles at the European University Institute and Technische Universität Dresden, focusing on energy markets and resource management.
