Myra Ebarb, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, has a diverse and extensive work experience. Myra started their career in 2001 as a District Finance and Human Resources Manager at Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream. Myra then moved on to The Children's Center of Wayne County (Detroit) in 2006, where they served as the Finance Director for six years. In 2011, Myra joined Boys & Girls Clubs as the Finance/Human Resources Director until 2013. Myra also worked at Teen Hype as the Board of Directors Treasurer from 2012 to 2016. In 2014, Myra became the Vice President of People & Perks at Sachse Construction/ Broder & Sachse Real Estate. Myra is currently a member of the Forbes Human Resources Council. Myra's expertise in finance and human resources has been valuable throughout their career.
Myra Ebarb, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ethnic, Cultural Minority, Gender, and Group Studies from the University of Arizona, where they attended from 1996 to 2000. Myra further pursued their academic journey by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Detroit Mercy, where they studied from 2002 to 2005.
In addition to their educational background, Myra Ebarb also holds two notable certifications. In 2014, they obtained the SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification from HRIC (Human Resource Institute of Canada). Furthermore, in 2015, they earned the SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management - Senior Certified Professional) certification from SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management).
