Jay Belhekar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the chemical and petrochemical industries. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist T&I at SABIC since July 2024, Jay previously managed the Process Technology team at Ingenero, where responsibilities included leading a digitalization team focused on developing solutions for refinery and chemical units. Prior roles include working as a Senior Technical Consultant at Proclink, where project leadership encompassed client workshops and strategic digital roadmaps, and as an Engineer in Ethylene Cracker Operations at Reliance Industries Limited, contributing to the commissioning of a major refinery off-gas cracker unit. Jay’s career began with production roles at Deepak Nitrite Ltd and Reliance Industries Limited. Jay holds an Executive MBA in Energy Management from Pandit Deendayal Energy University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
