Brad Moyer has worked in the engineering field since 1990. Brad began their career at L3 Communications Telemetry West as a Mechanical Engineer, where they designed packaging of a communications security device and collaborated on the design of a tunable microwave transceiver. In 1998, they moved to GE Security/Quantum Magnetics as a Mechanical Engineer, where they directed a research project to determine the feasibility of integrating an automated RF door into a multi-sensor explosives detection device. In 2007, they became a Mechanical Engineer/Independent Contractor at Paragon Medsystems, where they designed mechanical packaging and structural elements of RF surgical systems and developed engineering prototypes. Since 2009, they have been working at Sabia Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer/IT Administrator, where they are responsible for electro-mechanical design, CAD admin, process improvement, authoring and maintaining mfg work instructions and IT support. Brad has also collaborated on the modernization of Sabia's flagship X1 cross-belt analyzer, and was responsible for the total mechanical redesign which substantially reduced the cost of materials and the manufacturing labor required to build it.

Brad Moyer obtained an AA in Physical Science: Engineering from San Diego Mesa Community College in 2001. Brad received additional certifications from LinkedIn in August 2019 for Learning SOLIDWORKS PDM, from Coursera in January 2015 for Programming for Everybody (Python), from Dessault Systemes in May 2014 for Certified SolidWorks Professional Core, and from Coursera in January 2014 for Introduction to Financial Accounting.
