Irene Jaqués Adell has worked as a Mid Software Developer at SAALG Geomechanics since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Técnico de apoyo a la investigación at Centro Internacional de Métodos Numéricos en Ingeniería (CIMNE) from September 2020 to December 2022. Before their position at CIMNE, they were a Técnico en geología y geotecnia at Institut Cartogràfic i Geològic de Catalunya from October 2013 to September 2015.

Irene Jaqués Adell completed their education at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. From 2008 to 2013, they pursued a degree in Ingeniería Geológica. Later, in 2014 and 2015, they furthered their education by obtaining a Master's degree in Ingeniería de Terreno, specializing in Ingeniería geotécnica y geoambiental.
