Bala Nagarajan is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in the clean energy and venture capital sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director at S2G Ventures since March 2024, Bala previously held the position of Managing Director and Head of Climate Tech Ventures at NextEra Energy, Inc. from 2021 to 2024. Prior to that, Bala was Managing Director at Huck Capital, where responsibilities included diligence, fundraising, and execution of investments. Bala's experience at Equinor and Statoil involved leading teams and managing corporate venture capital funds focused on emerging technologies. Bala co-founded and served as CEO of Dawn Energy, and has held various financial roles at Lehman Brothers, Citi India, and Arthur Andersen. Bala holds an MBA from IESE Business School, is a Chartered Accountant, and has completed executive education in Venture Capital at the University of Pennsylvania.
