Steven Powlis, CPA, currently serves as an Associate at Palm Tree LLC since July 2023. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Associate and Assurance Associate at PwC from June 2019 to July 2023, as well as a Student Ambassador at the University of Tennessee between April 2017 and June 2019, where responsibilities included conducting campus tours and managing the UT Visitors Center. Earlier internships at PwC involved reviewing general ledger accounts and supporting documentation, while an internship at Acorn of London Apartments focused on internal accounting and contract review. Steven holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, both from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Additional experience includes positions as a Water Aerobics Instructor, Water Safety Instructor, and Lifeguard at Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation.
