Javier Vendrell García is a seasoned professional in information security with extensive experience spanning multiple roles. Currently serving as a Senior Information Security Consultant at S21sec since April 2015, Javier is a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) for PCI DSS and a 3DS Assessor for the PCI 3DS standard. Previously, Javier worked at AMETIC from September 2006 to April 2015, contributing to the R&D Department by preparing proposals for European public funding programs and coordinating the Spanish Technological Platform of Technologies for Security and Trust. Between November 2005 and September 2006, Javier was a Java Developer at Ydilo Advanced Voice Solutions, focusing on automated customer services for telecom companies. Javier also served as a Research Fellow at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid from September 2004 to September 2005, engaging in research on operating systems for mobile devices. Javier holds a degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity from U-tad, and a Master's in Research and Development from La Salle International Graduate School.
