Beth Hoagland is a seasoned geochemist and environmental scientist currently serving as a Project Geochemist and Senior Staff Scientist at S.S. Papadopulos & Associates, Inc., focusing on litigation support, geochemical modeling, environmental forensics, and water resource evaluations. Previously, as an NSF Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Colorado School of Mines, Beth investigated the impacts of acid rock drainage and mining on metal contamination, while coordinating research efforts and securing funding. Beth earned dual doctoral degrees in geoscience and biogeochemistry from Penn State University, where research concentrated on agriculture and mining's effects on water quality and environmental justice. Additional experience includes roles at the University of Adelaide, U.S. Geological Survey, and the American Geosciences Institute, showcasing a strong background in hydrology, data management, and science policy.
