Annette Hein is a Senior Staff Scientist at S.S. Papadopulos & Associates, Inc., since December 2018, with a prior role as a Staff Scientist. Annette's experience includes working as a Technical Aide at the Colorado Department of Natural Resources, where responsibilities included assisting with Denver Basin modeling and Platte River Program documentation and outreach. Annette also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Colorado School of Mines, and completed an internship at the U.S. Geological Survey, focusing on field and lab work related to soil infiltration studies. In earlier roles, Annette contributed to geophysical data processing at the University of Wyoming and tested chemical extractants at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. Educational achievements include a Master of Science degree in Hydrology and Water Resources Science from Colorado School of Mines, a Bachelor's degree in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Wyoming, and an Associate of Science in Mathematics from Casper College.
