Benjamin Thürer, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and research. Benjamin is currently working as a Lead Data Scientist at Rystad Energy since February 2024. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Data Science at Unacast from March 2021 to February 2024. Benjamin also worked as a Data Scientist at Unacast from December 2019 to February 2024. Benjamin has experience in academic research as well, having worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Oslo from June 2018 to December 2019. Benjamin completed their PhD at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), where they worked as a PhD student from December 2013 to May 2018.

Benjamin Thürer, PhD, received their Bachelor of Science degree in Sport und Leistung from Deutsche Sporthochschule Köln in 2011. Benjamin then pursued a Master of Science degree in Bewegung und Technik from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 2011 to 2013. Benjamin continued their education at KIT and obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience from 2013 to 2018.
