Joe Ellis currently serves as the VP and Chief Information Security Officer at Ryder System, Inc. since May 2018. Prior to this role, Joe held the position of Chief Information Security Officer at Subway from July 2014 to April 2018 and served as Chief Security Officer and Information Security Officer at the Independent Purchasing Cooperative from September 2009 to July 2014. Joe's earlier experience includes working as a Global Compliance Manager at Fidelity National Information Services from August 1996 to September 2009. Joe Ellis holds a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity from Southern New Hampshire University, achieved from March 2019 to September 2023, and an Associate of Science in Computer Information Systems from Tampa Technical Institute, completed from 1998 to 2001.
