Inty Cerezo has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry spanning over two decades. They started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Universidad de Oriente in 1999. They then worked as a Petrophysicist at PDVSA from 2000 to 2001, where they conducted research on magnetic resonance properties of various crude oil types. Following this, they served as an Operations Geologist at PDVSA from 2001 to 2003, where they wrote technical documents and provided operational support during well drilling.
From 2003 to 2004, Inty worked as a Mines Engineer at CAPEN CONSTRUCTORA, responsible for checking, calculating, and mapping planimetric and topographical data. In 2004, they joined INVERCON as a Topography Engineer, where they supervised surveys and data mapping for land register projects.
Their career in the oil and gas industry continued at Schlumberger from 2005 to 2015, where they held various roles. They served as a G&G Workflow Consultant, Senior Geoscientist, and Senior GeoModeller. In these positions, they provided advanced workflow consulting and application support, conducted seismic interpretation and geomodeling, and contributed to data management and training.
In 2016, Inty became the Founder President and Managing Member at Petrocuarx and Lordmax, a role they held until 2018. Currently, they are working at Ryder Scott Co. LP as a Sr. Geologist and Vice President, overseeing reserves analysis and evaluation.
Throughout their career, Inty has developed expertise in areas such as reservoir evaluation, quantitative interpretation, seismic well tie technology, and software engineering. They have also demonstrated strong skills in project management, mentoring, and providing quality solutions.
Inty Cerezo has a diverse education history. From 1994 to 2001, they attended Universidad de Oriente (VE) where they earned a degree in Geological Engineering with a focus on Geology, Petroleum Geology, and Reservoir Geology. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1994, Inty Cerezo studied at Montessori, though no specific degree or field of study is indicated. In the future, Inty Cerezo plans to pursue further education from 2022 to 2024, where they will attend Texas A&M University to obtain a Master of Science degree in Analytics.
