Brian Lock's work experience includes serving as an Actuarial Director at Ryan Specialty since July 2022 and previously as an Actuary from June 2021 to July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at RLI Insurance Company, where they held various roles including Actuary and ACAS from July 2016 to June 2021, Actuarial Analyst II from July 2013 to July 2016, and Actuarial Analyst I from March 2011 to July 2013. Brian also interned at Markel Corporation as an NAPLSO Intern for a brief period in May 2010 to July 2010.

Brian Lock attended Bradley University from 2005 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science. In 2014, they obtained a certification in ACAS from the Casualty Actuarial Society.
