Austin Schaffer is a seasoned software engineering professional with a strong background in both management and development. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at Ryan Specialty since April 2019, Austin has previously held roles such as Software Engineer at iEvolve Technology and Software Developer at QBC Systems, where involvement included enhancements and bug fixes on ERP systems. Austin also gained valuable experience as a Software Engineering Intern at ValueCentric, where a Hadoop cluster was installed and performance of mobile frameworks was tested. Earlier experiences include a Research Assistant role at CUBRC, focusing on C++ programming and DIADS development, as well as contributions to database management and software development during undergraduate studies at the University at Buffalo. Austin holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo, earned in 2017.
