Frank Patafio

Senior EVP, Senior Managing Director - US Investments at RXR Realty

Frank Patafio serves as a Senior Vice President, Senior Managing Director, US Investments for RXR Realty. In this capacity, he is responsible for managing new investment initiatives for RXR throughout the United States. Since joining RXR in 2010, Mr. Patafio has worked closely with senior management in acquiring more than $20 billion of assets encompassing over 25 million square feet and over 6,000 residential units. Prior to his current role, Mr. Patafio was the head of the Investment Management Group where he led the investment and asset management teams.

Previously, Mr. Patafio was a partner and CFO and one of the original members of the Praedium Group, a real estate investor in distressed debt and value-added opportunities throughout the U.S. and was involved with over $6.9 billion of investments made from 1933 through 2009. Mr. Patafio worked closely with the partners in developing the Praedium Group’s policies and processing for acquisitions, asset management, dispositions, financing and financial reporting. Prior to the he was a Director in the Mortgage Products Group at Credit Suisse First Boston and a Senior Manager at E&Y Kenneth Leventhal, a public accounting and consulting firm, where he worked on numerous debt financings and restructurings. Mr. Patafio has worked in all areas of real estate, including acquisitions, loan organizations, workouts and valuations.

Mr. Patafio also serves as an Independent Director of Northfield Bank, a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ. As a member of the Board, he also serves as the Audit Committee Chairman and sits on the loan and risk committees. In addition, Mr. Patafio is involved in various charities and not for profit institutions. He currently sits on the board of Northfield Foundation and the Northwell-SIUH Board of Overseers.

Mr. Patafio received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. Johns University and his MBA (with Distinction) in Finance from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business and is a CPA.
