James Cardia is the VP of Business Operations at RXi Pharmaceuticals. James has a long history of working in the field of metabolomics and has been a leading figure in the area of lipid metabolism and metabolic pathways. James began their career as an NIH Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University, where they led a global metabolite profiling effort using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry. James then moved on to work as a Research Scientist at the University of California, Berkeley, before taking on their current role at RXi Pharmaceuticals.

James Cardia received their PhD in Chemistry from Boston College.

James Cardia reports to Gerrit Dispersyn, President and Chief Executive Officer. James Cardia works with and Caitlin Kontulis - VP of Finance and Administration.
