Andy Anderson, MD, currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Quality Officer at RWJBarnabas Health since 2018, overseeing clinical activities of a major provider consortia while also being the CEO of RWJBarnabas/Rutgers Medical Group. Prior to this role, Andy Anderson was the System Chief Medical Officer and Executive Vice President at Aurora Health Care from 2011 to 2018, leading significant initiatives in clinical risk management, patient safety, and medical education. Previous positions include leadership roles at NorthShore University HealthSystem and the Medical College of Wisconsin, with early experience as Chief Resident at the University of Chicago Hospitals. Educational qualifications include an MD from the University of North Carolina, an MBA from Marquette University, and participation in the GE Physician Executive Fellowship.
