Andrew Swanson serves as the Emergency Services Manager at Rogue Valley Transportation District since August 2021, where responsibilities encompass Emergency Management, Risk Management, and oversight of district-wide safety and security. Previously, Andrew held the role of Interim Transportation Manager, managing a team of approximately 70 public transit bus drivers and support staff. Prior experience includes positions such as Emergency Services Coordinator for Jackson County, Enforcement Supervisor for Animal Services with Jackson County Health & Human Services, and Animal Control Deputy with Marion County Sheriff's Office. Andrew also has served as a Corrections Deputy and Wildland Firefighter, with a foundation in firefighting at Rural/Metro Corporation. Andrew's education includes studies in Welding Technology at Rogue Community College.
