Ed Coats has extensive experience in the publishing industry, currently serving as Publisher for the Rutland Herald since January 2021. With a career that spans over three decades, Ed has held the position of Associate Publisher at Sun Community News & Printing and Denton Publications since January 1990. Additionally, Ed was the Publisher at New Market Press from July 1995 until January 2021. Educationally, Ed Coats holds a BA in Business Administration from the Rochester Institute of Technology, where studies were completed between 1974 and 1978, and attended Canandaigua Academy from 1971 to 1974.
