Felena Casado Ramos is an experienced professional actively engaged in various roles primarily focused on research and program leadership within environmental and educational contexts. Currently serving as an Asistente de investigaci贸n at Laboratorio de Vida Silvestre y Salud with Universidad Estatal a Distancia and as a Program Leader for Costa Rica Global Learning Programs since February 2024, Felena has a strong background in leadership, particularly within the conservation sector, having led the Leadership Program at Rustic Pathways and managed volunteer activities for the Programa de Conservaci贸n de Tortugas. With additional experience in GIS and remote sensing from multiple positions, including SIGmundocr and the Laboratorio de Innovaci贸n e Investigaci贸n Tecnol贸gica de la UNED, Felena also has a solid administrative foundation from earlier roles in law and travel agencies. Felena holds degrees in Manejo de Recursos Naturales and Ingenier铆a medioambiental, complemented by various certifications in spatial analysis and QGIS software.
