Renee LaBran is an accomplished independent director, board member, and educator with extensive experience in the fields of finance, technology, and entrepreneurship. Currently, Renee serves as an Independent Director for B. Riley Financial and Iconic Sports Acquisition Corp, alongside a role on the Board of Directors for Idealab, the longest-running technology incubator. As an adjunct professor at UCLA Anderson School of Management, Renee teaches Business Plan Development and mentors MBA students. With a strong focus on advising early-stage and growth companies, Renee has held strategic roles at notable organizations including Internet Brands and has been an active partner with Rustic Canyon/Fontis Partners. Renee's previous leadership includes chairing the Los Angeles group of TIGER 21 and serving as a board trustee for the State Bar of California, appointed by Governor Brown. Educational credentials include an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School and an AB in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
