Sonja Lane Clark possesses extensive experience in education and leadership roles. Currently serving as a 2nd Grade Teacher Assistant at Russell Byers Charter School since August 2022, Sonja previously worked at the same school as a Special Education Paraeducator from November 2018 to June 2022. Sonja’s background includes leadership experience as Chapter Leader for the Philadelphia Alumni at Strayer University from January 2012 to August 2023, where responsibilities included serving as the primary contact for the chapter and providing guidance to chapter members. Additionally, Sonja has worked as an Alumni Ambassador focusing on marketing efforts and social media engagement for Strayer University. Other roles include Substitute Teacher at CSSTN, Legal Assistant at Elmore, Pugh & Warren P.C., Home Care Provider, and Admission Secretary at Strayer University. Sonja holds a Master of Art in Teaching with a focus on Early Childhood Education from Walden University, alongside degrees in Public Administration and Management from Strayer University and Community College of Philadelphia.
