Stuart Gibson has extensive work experience in the field of technology and IT strategy. Stuart currently holds the role of Director of Technology at Russell & Bromley Ltd since 2022. Previously, they worked as the Director of IT Strategy & Delivery at BRITVIC PLC from 2021 to 2022.

Before that, Stuart worked at Debenhams from 2019 to 2021, where they held the positions of Technology Director and Head of Architecture & New Technology. In these roles, they successfully led business-critical projects, improved peak preparation, and implemented Agile delivery methods to improve time to market. Stuart also secured significant funding for IT change and spearheaded the implementation of a new ecommerce platform.

Prior to their time at Debenhams, Stuart worked at KPMG in various advisory roles from 2012 to 2019. Stuart provided valuable recommendations for architecture simplification and risk reduction and played a key role in the acquisition of a closed book of life insurance business. Stuart also worked at Xantus Consulting as a Principal IT Consultant and Senior IT Consultant, as well as at Imation and Memorex in IT-related positions.

Stuart Gibson pursued their education in Computer Science at the University of East Anglia. From 1996 to 1999, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science. Following this, they continued their academic journey at the same institution and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science, which they completed from 1999 to 2003.
