Vasily Grudev currently serves as the Minister of Investment Policy of the Sakhalin Region since 2021. With an extensive career in investment and technology sectors, Grudev has held the position of CEO advisor and Director of Project Development at RUSNANO since August 2009. Prior to this, Grudev was the Investment Director at the Far East Investment and Export Agency from June 2017 to January 2021 and served as VP Russia at RAD Data Communications from February 2008 to August 2009. Earlier roles include Regional BDM at Cisco Systems and Regional Sales for Russia and CIS at McDATA, following a project management position in IT and Telecom at Russia Partners. Grudev earned a Master's degree in International Relations from the Russian Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation between 2007 and 2009.
