Alex Oren is a seasoned software development professional with extensive experience in server-side platform development and team management. Currently serving as a Senior Software Developer at Rush Street Interactive since September 2022, Alex previously held roles including Software Development Manager at Align Technology and Senior Application Developer at TMX Group, where significant improvements were made to the trading engine for the Toronto Stock Exchange. Alex has managed teams at Stars Technologies Services and Amaya Software, focusing on casino integration, security, and the development of server-side components in C++. With a solid foundation in software engineering, including roles at Fiver Media, Whitehill Technologies, Insystems, ATI Technologies, and BackWeb Canada, Alex has consistently contributed to complex projects across various domains. Alex holds a BSc in Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
