Tom Painter has over three decades of experience in the fire service, currently serving as Fire Chief at Rural/Metro Corporation since January 2004. Prior to this role, Tom held the position of Assistant Fire Chief at Tyndall Air Force Base Fire Department from May 1989 to December 2003. Tom's educational background includes a Fire Inspector II degree from Alabama State Fire College and an Associate's degree in Fire Science from Community College of the Air Force.
