Ryan Gillcrist has worked as a Regulatory & Policy Intern at the Rural Wireless Association since July 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a paralegal at Crowell & Moring LLP from June 2018 to July 2020, where they facilitated the preparation of applications to the United States Victims of State Sponsored Terrorism Fund and assisted in the distribution of millions of dollars in compensation to victims of terrorism. From June 2017 to August 2017, Ryan interned at Freedom House, conducting research on global current events, governmental policies, CSOs and human rights defenders under threat to inform Emergency Assistance Program employees and reveal new locations for grants. Ryan also produced and edited program and social media materials for donors and the U.S. Department of State. Ryan was a Public Policy Intern at the Association of Community College Trustees from July 2015 to August 2015. Prior to that, they worked as an intern at Budow and Noble, P.C. from June 2014 to August 2014.
Ryan Gillcrist attended Walt Whitman High School before going on to the University of Michigan. There, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in both International Studies: International Security, Norms, and Cooperation and Ryan'story. Finally, they attended The George Washington University Law School to earn their Doctor of Law (JD).
